Plot #35 is the site of an Experimental Design/Build project being developed by Migrating Culture within the township of Ye Fa Ogyamu. Its purpose is to showcase a number of indigenous construction techniques infused with modern touches and sustainable design approaches.
The structure is approximately 250 square feet and incorporates the use of stone foundation walls with adobe mud blocks walls and timber framing. The sleek roof design allows for optimum water catchment and symbolically reflects the outstretched wings of a butterfly. Functionally, the structure acts as an on-site staging point; allowing for a safe secure site office/storage facility.
